House Mouse
The House Mouse as an adult is 2 ½ to 3 ½ inches at the body, 2 ¾ to 4 inches at the tail, and weighing at the most an ounce. Light brown in color, they are capable of being entirely black and have smooth fur, a pointed snout, small eyes, large ears that have some hair, and have a semi-hairless tail. You most likely can identify if you have a problem with House Mice if you notice droppings near a food source in your home. They also can be noisy at night if they have infiltrated your attic since they are most active at this time. Like all rodents, the House Mouse is destructive and chews on many different objects. They can contaminate food and transmit disease and illness through their droppings and urine. A professional is recommended in remediating any issues with this rodent. A House Mouse can squeeze into an opening ¼ of an inch, getting them under control and excluded from your home is not an easy task. Give one of our pro’s a call.
