The House Mouse as an adult is 2 ½ to 3 ½ inches at the body, 2 ¾ to 4 inches at the tail, and weighing at the most an ounce. Light brown in color, they are capable of being entirely black and have smooth fur, a pointed snout, small eyes, large ears that have some hair, and have a semi-hairless tail.
