Measuring 1/8 of an inch to 1/4 inch in size, the House Fly is dark grey in color and easily identified by the black stripes on their thorax and gold stripes on their face. House Flies often invade homes looking for food. Since they are attracted to such a variety of different foods sometimes this can make things difficult in identifying what is causing a House Fly issue. A female House Fly can lay over 130 eggs each time, and this can happen 5-6 times over a couple of days. House Flies contaminate food and are more considered to be filth flies than other species of flies.
