Earwigs
Ranging in size, adults usually are 5/8 of an inch and are brown to reddish black in color. Most noticeably identified by their pincer “cerci” that are found on the back of their abdomen. Luckily the rumors are false when it comes to Earwigs. They do not crawl inside your ear and lay eggs. In fact, even their scary pincers are not used against humans. They are more of a nuisance pest and an occasional invader of your home, especially after a downpour. Typically feeding on decaying plant material, some species of earwigs can be destructive to plants but mostly are just an issue when invading your home. Since this is another occasional invader, having your home protected with our pest control service will help mitigate their infiltration into your lovely home.
