Carpenter Ants
Contrary to popular belief, Carpenter Ants do not eat wood such as Termites. Instead, they forage through wood removing grass out of the cavities they create. These ants are not dangerous to people but can be destructive to property. Other color variations include red and black, as well as red and brown.
